Hannon Armstrong joins Washington, DC's Cool Capital Challenge
Cool Capital Challenge unites individuals, schools, congregations, businesses, governments and other institutions to take a billion-pound bite out of the Capital Region's carbon dioxide emissions by April 2009. The Challenge is like a fundraising campaign, only instead of pledging money, they are pledging the region's greenhouse gas emission reduction.

VA Tech launches Energy Efficiency partnership with HA
In October 2007, Virginia Tech launched the Energy Efficiency Partnership of Greater Washington. The initiative brings together partners in energy efficiency financing, utility providers, urban developers, local municipalities and architects to tackle the problem of global warming by retrofitting existing buildings with energy efficiency products throughout the region. - October 2007
